This module gives an overview of publicly available data sources and the process of data collection to publication. Our expectation is that you will know what data sources exist and how users can utilize them to create products.
Topic 1: Publicly available data sources, key variables and where to find them
This topic gives background on various publicly available data sources. We give an overview of the American Community Survey (ACS), Current Population Survey (CPS, Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS), and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Our expectation is that you will learn about these data sources and the data they offer.
